Sarah and Faraz

Pakistani receptions are a truly a joy to photograph. Great food, smiling people, and traditional music make for an awesome party. It really makes my job easy when you've got so much vibrant color to work with. Still though, I try to stay true to unique styling that gives you a new perspectives of the Shaadi - weather you were there or not.

I'd like to add that Sarah and Faraz were very patient with me. I fed off their positive energy and hopefully - it all came through in the pictures.

Diane and Tracy

With orchids as the backdrop and a cool South Florida afternoon, the scene was set for what proved to be a fun filled day of photography. Not even a splattering of rain altered the mood, but instead allowed for us to create some rather unique shots.

The couple never stopped smiling, giggling or flat out laughing through practically the entire shoot. The two must have had lots of great jokes or juicy gossip to exchange, because they simply had a blast, and it certainly came across in their photos.

Nothing is more rewarding as a photographer than being in the company of a couple that just knows how to have a great time.

Enjoy, and if you want to see more, check out the full gallery here.

Tannah and Shawn

Hidden behind a winding roads, away from the busy streets, lies a quaint country club that features the soft rolling hills of a golf course. I live a mere 15 minutes from this picturesque venue, but never knew of it's existence.

November features some of the best weather South Florida has to offer. Tannah and Shawn worked tirelessly to get every detail in order, leading right up to their big moment. The ceremony was the most entertaining I have ever attended. The eloquent Rabbi delivered timely humor mixed with powerful, uniting words. Everyone had a smile on their face when it was over. This really set the tone for the festive reception.

Jewish weddings always feature unique characteristics that really set them apart: The Chuppah, blessings of Betrothal (drinking from the cup), signing of the Ketubah (marriage contract), blessing over the challah (bread), and finally, the Seudah (festive meal), to name a few.

It truly was a pleasure being part of this lovely cultural affair. Tannah's contagious smile and Shawn's kindness are sure to be remembered.
