Yasmeen and Nishaad - Shaadi

The second of three nights - The main event. South Miami is home to diversity, and this wedding showcased just that. A fusion of Cuban and Indian culture created a "rumba" that was bursting at the seams with color. As the risk of sounding a bit over confident - I truly did have trouble picking my favorites from this collection. There were simply too many wonderful moments to chose from.

The bride's friends prepared a wonderful choreographed dance number to the theme of Slumdog Millionaire's anthem - "Jai Ho". Encores were demanded and given frequently.

The cuisine carried authentic Pakistani and Indian flavors. Both the deserts and the lovely couple left a sweet taste in everyone's mouth.
