Sahar and Taimur - Nikkah Ceremony

While I do travel a considerable amount for weddings - there's nothing like shooting in my home town of Fort Lauderdale., Florida. Sahar and Taimur were an exceptionally lively couple, and a lot of fun to work with.

The South Florida Summer weather cooperated with us long enough for some fun outdoor formals with the couple. The venue below is Mehfil: a popular restaurant and banquet hall for Pakistani and Indian Weddings; but you wouldn't know it from the photos. The decorators did a wonderful job of transforming this hall into an intimate venue for very joyous Nikkah ceremony.

I look forward to seeing the couple again in the fall for their Shaadi and reception.

Photographing in a church poses it's own challenges - lighting - people, and when there's an event such as first communion going on - you've got lots and lots of people with cameras.

I had a great time photographing these two lovely little girls - Emily and Stephanie, both of whom looked absolutely adorable.
