Masoom and Khalid | Mehndi | Fort Lauderdale

Mehndi's are all about late nights. Last night was no exception. With the music blaring and people breaking it down on the dance floor combined with mouth watering delicious food - what else would you expect? Nobody wanted to the party to end, but alas, we all had to save some energy for the Shaadi and Walima!

The rocking bhangra was mixed by none other than DJ Pavan - one of the best in the industry. He's got the right gear, the right mix of beats, and the right attitude.

Decor, including the swing chair and stage setup was by Pavan Events. The atmosphere was provided by one of the liveliest crowds I've seen in a while!

Masoom and Khalid | Nikkah Ceremony

Brooklyn, NY meets Miami, FL in a union between Masoom and Khalid. Dar-ul-iloom masjid nestled in Pembroke Pines, Florida provided the backdrop for a the marriage ceremony of this couple.

Shaikh Shafayat gave a brief and lighthearted sermon with some poignant words of advice followed by a simple Nikkah.

Saima and Sarfaraz | Gainesville Wedding Photographer

I had the pleasure of meeting the personality that is Saima several weddings ago. She was was one of the first to join the exclusive salman Photography fanclub and help spread the word. So naturally when it came to her wedding - I was thrilled to have the opportunity to capture it.

Gator Town, Florida is home to quite a strong, and tightly knit Pakistani community. The families there know each other, and I was happy to see old friends I had made from other weddings I had covered.
